Guffey is a 2006 graduate of University of Central Florida. In her free time, she enjoys playing XBOX 360 with her husband, making jewelry and exploring her new home, Texas.
Why journalism?
Reading the newspaper has always been one of the day's greatest joys for me. Working for one initially sparked my interest after I read an editorial on fashion in my high school newspaper. I wrote a long letter to the editor, and the entire piece was published - and that felt great.
I immediately signed up to join The Little Bighorn and have never looked back. There is just something about knowing the news first and helping people keep tabs on their community - local and global - that just makes my day.
